The SQUARE at Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit now highlights this southern-hemisphere delicacy with its ‘New Zealand mussel’s festival from 1 November to 17 December 2015.
Although their shell is in fact a deep, dark green, New Zealand mussels can indeed transform any dish as if by culinary magic. Add the wizardry of The SQUARE’s talented chefs, and dinner buffet guests enjoy spellbinding seafood treats. Preparations include a number of European and Asian styles: mussel with cream, mussel with cream and curry, teppanyaki mussel, mussel with chorizo and chili, mussel marinière, and charcoal-grilled BBQ mussel. The buffet’s seafood on ice display likewise features prawn, New Zealand mussels with a variety of sauces. In addition to many international dishes including carved meats, Indian curries and Thai favourites, The SQUARE’s dinner buffet also tempts with cakes, Thai desserts and ice cream.
