Death of Miss AmericaWhat: The “Miss Tomorrow Pageant” is a beauty contest spoof. Just before the winner is announced, Miss America drops dead. Finding the answers to how and why drives the story from that point on. The play is an “in-your-face” English-speaking comedy that addresses stereotypes of Asian women and stresses the importance of the newly launched ASEAN community.

10th Laguna Phuket International MarathonWhat: The 42km-long marathon will take runners out of Laguna and then north through local villages, pineapple and rubber plantations.
