A glittering array of hi-so and showbiz celebrities attended the event.

The second half of the book contains 23 recipes, which are mostly classic French or fusion dishes that incorporate the tastes and flavors and ingredients of somtum in very creative ways. Included in the book are appetizers, desserts and breads, cakes and petits fours; fish and seafood, and meat and poultry recipes.
